Facts To You Need To Know About Bulk SMS Provider

A look around you today, you will see handbills or posters asking you to contact the address written down there in smsother to send your bulk SMS. Even on the internet there are adverts also scattered all over saying the same thing. The persons that are in charge of placing such adverts are known as bulk SMS providers. This type of service providers are mostly found online although some of them have offline offices and outlets.

The first thing you need to know about bulk SMS providers is that their major work or duty is to present you with the needed platform to get your messages across to as many persons as possible. The providers allow you to register on their platform and purchase the required units to send out your message and also provide you with the medium to send the messages.

No matter the provider, you can be sure that your message will be delivered irrespective of the network carriers of the recipient. So the issue of an MTN bulk SMS provider or GLO bulk SMS provider does not arise at all. Simply locate the provider of your choice and you will be able to send out your bulk SMS.

Another thing you need to know about these providers is that, if you are looking at becoming a bulk SMS provider on your own, some of these providers will help you do so. What you will only need to do is to fulfill whatever requirements you are presented with and your own bulk SMS reselling site will be provided to you. Depending on the provider you decide to start up with, you are going to receive a lot of add-ons and freebies that will make the kicking off of your start up business an easy process.

However, for you to be able to fully enjoy the benefits of tapping into the bulk SMS technology either as an end user or as a reseller, you just have to make sure that you select a provider that will be able to deliver top notch services to you. Failure to do so, you will find yourself struggling endlessly. As it is hard to differentiate the wheat from the chaff especially on the internet, it is advised that you only use providers that have been tested and trusted by so many users and have received at least 80% positive review.

Once you identify such a provider, you can then enjoy the benefits that come with bulk SMS.

FSMS versus Free082SMS Free SMS in South Africa

FSMS is fast becoming (if not already) the dominant Free SMS website in South Africa. Stats from December 2010 showed that FSMS is generating more than 2 million page views a month from more than 35 thousand users, sending an average of 25 thousand SMSes per day.

Technology investment company World of Avatar owns a 50% stake in the company and FSMS boasts South Africas only free two-way SMS service (SMS are not sent from the senders own phone number, but replies can be picked up on the website).

FSMS is sponsored by on site advertising and in targeted ads appended to the bottom of outgoing SMSes - Demographic information is collected during the registration process.

Free082SMS is a small fry in comparison to FSMS but users can send Free SMS from their own cellphone numbers so replies are delivered directly to the senders phone as long as the original SMS was sent using a Vodacom, MTN or CellC account. Free082SMS does offer Free SMS to other South African networks as well, but replies are not supported for this option. Free082SMS is sponsored by on site advertising and self promotion in Free SMSes.

Free082SMS generates around 450 thousand pageviews per month with more than 3 thousand Free SMS sent from the site every day.

Free082SMS.co.za is more niche than FSMS.co.za but both sites work well and it all comes down to personal preference really. But please share your preference in the comments below...
